imo this would be a great fight wright will test Calzaghe for sure the fact there both southpaws makes this real interesting for me. I really hope this fight gets sorted. B hop imo 100% fights winer of tito and rjj
Taylor & pavlik tied up with there rematch. I would rather watch winky vs calzaghe the calzaghe vs woods

It would be like Pac moving up and losing a close fight to Cotto, then coming up and beating Floyd. Would he be P4P #1? I mean, he lost to Cotto! :nut

Well Floyd is a level or two above Calzaghe plus remember Wright didn't beat Taylor.

    Yes he is 2.

Winky is still top10 for me, so hes close enough to move up.

Froch isnt even top 20 so why would he be 1 ?

Yes. He did. Why is there no objectivity when doing P4P. Why should Winky even be dropped from his P4P spot for losing a close UD to BHOP in a much higher weight? Like I said, If Pac lost to Cotto, I don't think he should drop in the P4P rankings at all. If Floyd lost to Taylor or Wright, he shouldn't drop. If Calzaghe lost to Chris Byrd, he shouldn't drop. This is P4P, use your heads :deal

Clearly Hopkins and Pacquiao should be above Calzaghe so Calzaghe is at best number 4. If Wright beats Calzaghe you could argue for a top 5 spot.

Mate the majority of people on here have JC as number 2.

    ESPN has JC at number2

boxingconfidential has JC at number 2

Even pacDbest has JC at number 2, behind pac but ahead of pbf.

I agree. Stinky is nothing special even at Middleweight, let alone SM.

However, that's were the most money is, so that's who JC wants to fight. Simple as that

Wright was universally recognized as #3 before he moved up to fight Hopkins :deal how quickly you forget, your worse than a selfish girlfriend  "what have you done for me lately?" ring-a-bell? :rofl If he beats another fighter inside the top 4 P4P at a HIGHER weight, he at least, at the very least gets his #3 spot back :deal

Yes but where does it stop? Calzaghe loses against Byrd, Haye, Maskaev and Klitschko does he move down at all? If Pacquiao loses against Cotto, Mayweather and Hatton does he move down?

Well he may get his number three spot back but elevating him to number 1 would be crazy.

But if he beat Cotto then lost against Mayweather and Hatton he's move down overall wouldn't he?

Where would you put Hatton if he beat Floyd?

If Pac beat Cotto, I would have him at #1. If he then lost to Mayweather and Hatton????? Its tough because at that time their might be other fighters with achievments meritting place, but in reality, Pac losing to those guys in no ways is an indication that he has declined at all and isn't as good as them on a "P4P sense", so yeah maybe he might fall. I concede to your point, you cannot keep someone on top who is losing, even if they are losing to bigger guys, but in reality it means ****-all....but for "the list" it has to be done. :good
