Miguel is a welterweight with a lot of power and fast hands. Miguel has to make his fight. I don't think Pacquiao will exchange punches with Cotto, who will win either by decision or knockout, Said Quintana."

"If Cotto stays disciplined as he usually is, and goes to the body, he will beat Pacquiao. Cotto has a good defense to avoid Pacquiao's punches. A good defense wins fights. Cotto put on a boxing clinic against Antonio Margarito until he gradually wore out. But, we'll never know if Margarito had something in his handwraps," Said Wright.

"Miguel has all the tools to beat Pacquiao. Manny throws a lot of punches, but when he does that, he leaves himself wide open for counters, and that's Miguel's style of fighting," Said Lopez.

Wright is a objective predictor here... I don't care what the other two have to say about who they think will win.

Quintana has fought Cotto; He knows what Cotto brings, and he is definetely not understating his speed.

I disagree with Winky. I don't think Cotto's defense is good at all.

I can careless what Quintana and Juanma think.

I think Cotto's defence has become severly under-rated since the Clottey fight.

    Well let's look back.

Ricardo Torres- Nearly knocked Cotto out.

Demarcus Corely- Nearly knocked Cotto out.

Shane Mosley- Landed over 50% of his shots.

Zab Judah- Couldn't miss an uppercut.

Antonio Margarito- Though is suspect, still landed flush shots several times.

Joshua Clottey- Beat Cotto to the punch, landed several times.

Cotto's face is marked up pretty much after every fight. That's not good defense to me at all. He's got some descent defensive tactics at certain times in a fight, but that doesn't make him a good defender.

Logical . . . Cotto is the bigger man who survived a bigger Clottey.

Cotto came in at 146 against Clottey . . . now he'll be forced to come in at 145 . . . so the mystery factor here is the 1 pound difference.

    Intangibles:

Will Cotto be affected by that 145 lbs weigh in weight? Will it affect his stamina? And can Pacquiao take Cotto's power punches all night?

Ricardo Torres us underrated and has heavy hands, Cotto destroyed him. Corley caught him with a good punch but overall he was overmatched. Zab Judah landed 2 uppercuts thats it, he was badly overmatched as well. Shane Mosley has heavy hands and speed and was very tentative against Cotto. Clottey and Margarito are much bigger than Cotto.

Cotto has a good enough defence not to get hit with silly shots such as hatton but he isnt a defensive genius in the mold of PBF.
