    Most of the fighters of the last 20 or so yrs fight that style though.
    New fans to boxing call that countering. But you described what
    it actually is perfectly.

    Yeah - I find it strange that people consider what is essentially 'taking a turn', as 'counterpunching'.

    It's interesting that this is something considered a thing, amongst more recent fans. Though, it might explain why I once found myself in a discussion with someone, who referred to Arthur Abraham as a counterpuncher. :lol:
