The more I feel Williams is in for a one-sided beatdown similiar to the one Hopkins gave to Pavlik.

Dont get me wrong, Im not hating and I would absolutely love to see Williams beat the crap out of Wright and never have to hear about his cry baby ***** ass Diva attitude again. However if even 50% of the Wright that showed up against Taylor shows up against Williams on fight night, then The Punisher is in for a very long night.

There are still a lot of questions to if Williams can adjust to a good southpaw fighter for 12 rounds, Williams doesnt have the power to gain Wright's respect and as most know the way to break Wright's defense is a strong consistent inside game something Paul lacks deeply as a lanky fighter. Im also not sold that Williams has dropped the stalking/pressure style hes been using through out his career and if tries to bully Wright he wont see the 12th round.

I think what we're all expecting is for Wright's age and inactivity to play a big part as to why Williams will win, but there has been no real signs of Wright's declination. He went up 2 weight classes and fought a competitive fight with Hopkins. The fight wont be exciting either, I wont be surprised to see the fight stopped on cuts from a clash of heads, and judging from these 2 styles we will see a lot of.

Winky is much better than Quintana, plus Quintana has a glass jaw.

I got Winky in this one, but I'm not real confident. I have consistently prefaced analytical statements with the word "if." Winky from the Taylor fight would hand Paul his ass on a boxing glove, if Winky can still operate at that level. That would set up Pavlik/Wright, and some of us who are KP fans have been waiting years to see that. Any version of Winky that can beat Williams is a WAY BIGGER challenge than Abraham.

If Winky has anything left he can do it.

I really doubt Winky can "school" Williams. I still have Williams winning comfortably by decision

I wonder if Winky still has it? That is the question.

I have P-Will by decision, too. Winky has been inactive for a long, long time. His last wins over an elite-level fighter in his prime would be the back-to-back defeats of Shane Mosely 4-5 years ago. Paul Williams is an elite-level fighter in his prime. This won't be nearly as easy as some are making it out. I don't deny Wright's boxing skills and excellent brain, but he will be in for a challenging evening come April 11th.

I do know that Winky does believe he has something left, he has turned down some good money against Kessler, Abraham, and a Taylor rematch because he wants a very winnable fight. Why would he reject all those fights to end up fighting someone like Williams?

I think that as long as Winky is rested rather than rusted, his experience on the big stage should not be over looked. If you go back to the first McKart fight, and work your way forward, the man has one hell of a resume'.

    :rofl

are you seriously using that logic?

tyson hit harder the Holyfield. holyfield ko'd buster. here's a better one for you.

taylor obviously is heavier and he punches harder then Judah yet he couldn't ko spinks. kosta tyszu hits harder then PBF yet couldn't ko hatton with a clean shot.

your theroy is trash. next time think before you type something in respond to a post of mine, especially when trying to insult my intelligence :good

styles make fights as well as for Ko's and stoppages. winky will be worn out and beat down. the key to beating winkey is high activity and angles along with shots that matter.
