Wright's Trainer on Pavlik/Wright

I think Pavlik can beat Wright, but Trampler isn't as confident, apparently.

 

Winky Wright is at least a natural jr welter at min .. How is fighting Williams who's never fought above 154 better for legacy ? What part of history does that fit in too ? Winky is at least ranked in the top ten active middle weights ..His place is debatable but at least as far as titled defenses it would have signifigance !


What other than a cake walk does Williams bring ? Please don't say name Wright has more of a name ..

 

I don't care if his trainer disagrees or agrees with me Wright has a better resume more credientals as a middle and more of a name than Williams(thats fact ) but for some reason it would do Kelly more good to fight a what if middle in Paul ??What more facts do u need when I simply responded to someone who stated just that ??Or are you being selective with your rebuttles without the facts ??

I just ****i'n love this! Now he wants to fight and he can't get any fight.

 

And if Winky's team thinks that, they would take the short change and be the WORLD MW Champ.

 

I've always been a big Winky fan. but the truth is he's NEVER been one to attract fans nor does he put on entertaining bouts. Winky's the type of fighter who can't afford to wait for the big paydays, because no one cars to see him. Not to mention, WTF weight class is he at? How about earning a f*ckin shot in the mean time. Last I looked, being the world champ @ 154 years ago doesn't mean much today w/o that belt.

And **** that "Pay him for respect" bull****....

If he wants to, it looked like the offer was there. And if he won, he'd have a good money fight w/ Abraham next and anyone else @ 168 as well.

Bad move by winky. He'll either sit on his ass for an even LONGER time, or wind up on a shitty undercard or ESPN.

 

The more I think about it, the more I think Winky should take the offer. Look at what he would get: $1.3 million, plus a cut of the ppv, and a shot at beating the man that everyone wants to call out, but no one wants to fight.

 

..I will admit I was dead wrong on him not fighting above 154 ! He even fought at 160 but all the so called middles and jr middles ..None of those guys were proven @ middle or had winning records ,,Winky at least is ranked why not fight him if he manges to knock him out he will have done what Taylor,Hopkins ,and Tito couldn't do ...


It would prove much more worthy ..Williams will get destroyed by a fighter the caliber of Pavlik ..If he had a tune up I would be inclined to agree about the power but fighting a bunch of stiffs who Isreal Vazquez could probably knock out proves nothing as far as his middle weight status .But hopefully for Pavliks sake he turns this fight down .

 

He doesn't want it that badly....you know the guy who is yelling at another guy and hoping a bunch of people step in between them.....that's Winky in this case.....
