Does anyone know what the wrist machine was?

"Jeffries worked with the punching bag, medicine ball,

There is footage of him using cable crossover weight machines.

Perhaps it is a reference to that?

As I understand it, it was a weight-training device for strengthening the grip and forearms. Basically a horizontal bar which you would turn slowly with your hands so that it wound up a rope from which a weight was suspended.

Gans used that bag too. Presumably a lighter version but I’m not sure. He got it from JJ.

Maybe he worked his hands and wrists opening jars, one after another, for his wife. I'm a pretty strong guy, but I swear, some of those jars my wife gives me to open, the lids HAD TO HAVE BEEN at the very least spot welded in place!
