OK so I'm writing a book about the 100 greatest boxers of all time (always debatable but fun) so before I make my picks I'm going to debate on here who should be included.

Obviously their are a certain selection who are untouchables so we might as well get them out of the way first and then get down to selecting the rest.

I haven't yet decided if I'm going to order them but I can come back to that later if needed. Just need the 100 s[pots taken for now so I can get to work on researching the boxers and writing the articles.

It will start from when the bareknuckle era ended and go from there. I may write a preface about some of the bareknuckle era boxers but ill get to that later.

Heres the initial list, once Ive got about 120-130 then ill look at cutting them down to the final 100:

I would say that all of these fighters should be in your top 100.

I would suggest that you rank them chronogicaly in your book. If you rank them in order, some people (stupid) won't read simply because their favorite fighter is too low.

Great idea... Rank chronologically and your book can be more about how the theme of boxing changed from past glory to modern glory.

An absolute lock should be jones jr and whittaker. The modern era hasn't seen anyone as talented as them two in about 30 years.

Ehm..........I hate to break this to you, but Bert Sugar is gonna sue your ass. It's been done; he wrote this very book, under that very name, by the way, "The 100 Greatest Boxers of All Time."
