Wrong with boxing

I watch both, and I know exactly where he is coming from with that comment.

 

If America had any top CW's they would not shut up about the division.

 

I'm a fan of both MMA and Boxing.... For me right now the difference is that UFC manages to frequently produce the fights that you want to see, unlike boxing which come around once every couple of years.

UFC still has the same problems with people refusing to fight good opponents and hand pick guys... Bisping vs Henderson II (Henderson was 13th ranked... If I remember right)

I feel nowadays everyones ambition is to become a World Champion and that's it... For my money, your not the best in the world until you hold all of the belts! Governing bodies need to do more to ensure unification fights happen!

Promoters need to do more to ensure their fighters are matched up in competitive but winnable fights

 

MMA & boxing are a bit like rugby league & union. It's the same shape ball and you try and score a try but they're different games that should be enjoyed in their own right instead of compared.

 

I know UFC is the end goal for most of them but knowing how accurate rankings are and knowing be heavily weighted towards UFC it'll be hard for anybody who isn't in UFC to break them. Like I say good few people who do it at a high level have told me this, I would switch the channel over if their best fight came on my tv it really doesn't interest me
