They didn't look as though it was all that stark a difference, though - like they didn't belong in the ring together. :conf I think it's maybe part growing pains with the new weight, but mostly to do with Dmytro being a beast. (who slipped our radar, simply because he's got several teammates ahead of him on a stacked Ukraine side)
He is great fun to watch though, if a little silly at times. Against better opponents he doesnt mess around as much.
He definitely has talent, his style looks a lot more suited to amateur than pro at the mo, WSB is a great platform for his development.
There's only 5 weightclasses in WSB so all the 69kg guys fight at "MW". Dmytro is only 5'8 so he's more stocky but Evans wasn't at any size disadvantage imo just a bad style matchup. Italy's Mangicappre for example is a 64kg boxer yet is undefeated at MW in WSB, hes at a size disadvantage.
Yep, the whole show is on repeat on ESPN from around midnight. They'll all be uploaded to youtube soon enough anyway.
Won every round against an overmatched opponent who was only there to survive. Looked good without showing anything we haven't seen before.
Mytrofanov is awesome; he made a fan of me today. He's 5-2 in his WSB career - only ever losing by split decision to highly rated countryman (but representing Kazakhstan, traitorous *******! :twisted Sergiy Derevyanchenko and by UD to Michel Tavares, a very good French southpaw currently on the Italian squad. The crazy thing is he's only the 2nd-string Ukrainian MW, behind Golub!!!
