Not much boxing on this weekend but there is another round of WSB fixtures, as always all the fights are streamed free & legally on www.worldseriesboxing.com & on their youtube channel. For anyone unfamiliar with the format its 5x3 min rounds which are scored on the 10points must system by 5 rinside judges. There are small, pro sized gloves, no vests & no headgear. In GB's first season we have made a decent start and are 3-1 ahead of our visit to Ukraine. The GB team is young & talented but the Ukrainian side is packed with some of the superstars of amateur boxing, which have not yet competed due to post-Olympic promotional commitments in Ukraine. This week is the first time we'll see some of them in action.

No Loma but there are 2 Olympians in action. The light heavyweight won bronze in 2012, he was very unlucky to lose on countback in semi finals & is a top quality fighter. Their heavyweight, Usyk, is the reigning world & Olympic champion at heavyweight but is moving up to superheavy. It will be interesting to see how he does againt the big boys.
:good as are the times Ive listed for all the other fixtures Not sure of the running order of the individual fights as it changes every week.
Like the look of that Shaun McGoldrick, very raw but he's as strong as a bull, reminds me of John Simpson.
Cheers, trying to keep up with the WSB this season. Theres going to be major fight between the flyweights when Andrew Selby and Michael Conlan collide, cant wait for it. Also Lomachenko is going to be ace under these rules:yep
Gutted Lomachenko not fighting Friday, he's not fought once yet in the series, thought he was going to start competing after Christmas and new year too.
I think Lomchenko is fighting on the 14th against the Yanks. Selby showed some good stuff in his last fight
