Obviously but what i was saying is its improbable that will happen. Hell if Mexico wins i'll delete the picture of your wife's tits from my computer.

Awesome! I get to see Lomachenko and Usyk fight again. Usyk may even get Dychko...

Yeah i think it's a poor idea to host the finals at home for one country but that's what they're doing. The AIBA World Championships are in Kazakhstan this year so that's probably why. Amateur boxing is huge in Kazakhstan so there should be a very large crowd and the judging is a concern especially in that environment.

He's been listed on their roster all season but hasn't fought. You are allowed to use a guy for the first time in the playoffs, its happened already, but i would be a little suprised if he fought in the finals. I would love to see it though.

heres the latest news on Golub, he was training for the Azerbaijan bacus and broke his right hand, the cast will be taken off 29th of April, he is saying that the doctors are telling him that his hand should heal by the time the finals arrive.... i really hope so as he is one best middleweights in the wsb!!!

Yep, Astana either way. It was announced weeks ago, decided perhaps much earlier.

Kazakhstan has lots of clout in the amateur boxing world.

It sets a bad precedent and if Kazakhstan winds up advancing to meet Ukraine and the scoring is remotely suspect, it will look very bad. :conf

I don't think they're holding individual Championships this year for the WSB. In the Team Finals the tiebreaker division is BW which will be a certain win for Kazakhstan who are deep there.

Oh ****... the other Semifinal leg 2 finished hours ago. :think I somehow didn't realize it would be quite that early and figured I'd catch some at least after getting back from boxing class.

    Kazakhstan swept.

I guess nobody caught it, from the lack of comments?

Ah well - adios Guerrero hombres. :hi:

So Kazakh fans have been saying that some of the boxers on their National team that haven't fought in WSB (but are listed on their roster) may fight in the finals as a way to prepare for the World Championships. Dychko at HW ans Suzhanov at MW are being mentioned as the most likely possibilities. Dychko vs Usyk would be fascinating. Dychko is huge at 6'9 but his footspeed is probably just as good as Usyk's. Oleksandr would really have to pressure him Lomachenko style and it would make for an intruging matchup.

I like it. When a decent amateur turns pro its 20 fights until we see most of them in there with a live body. At least here there fighting someone half decent.

Schedules out for the final, Lomachenko not fighting on either day for **** sake, anyone shed any light on the reasons why?

On the bright side we do get bouts like Usyk vs Hrgovic and Berinchyk vs Bashenov
