I'm hoping this is just to lull Kazakstan into a false sense of security and both Loma and Mytrofanov will fight at some point over the weekend, unless there injured but I've not heard anything

Yeah and on the Ukrainian VK site there are pics of Vasyl and Dmytro training and with the team and present as they travel to Kazakhstan. You're allowed to replace one fighter listed on your roster per event, looks like Kazakhstan did the same thing replacing Hrgovic vs Nistor. Disappointed we don't get to see that but i think Nistor may actually be a more difficult style matchup.

Event sold out a week after tickets were released and the stadium holds 10,000 people so with two events i assume that means 20,000 tickets sold.

It wasn't supposed to be that early. :blood

It was supposed to kick off at 20:45 local time in Astana (roughly half an hour ago) which means with all the usual preamble and ceremony the matches should just be starting up now.

Meirbolat Toitov vs. Viktor Gogolyev is already into the 5th, winding down.
