****ing missed Lomachenko's fight how did he look was it competitive?

Next two fights at MW and LHW will be massacres in favor of Kazakhstan. At HW Usyk vs Nistor has me a little worried Nistor has a good style to trouble Oleksandr, trouble anyone really.

EDIT: switch the names in this entire post. I had them confused.

    Round 1

Derevyachenko is circling left and lulling Barabanov with his right jab, then slapping in with the left across his cheek. Straight lefts to the body poked in by Derevyachenko as he circles and bobs low. Barabanov walks forward and paws a left hook at the head of the crouching Derevyachenko and gets countered on the upswing. Derevyachenko is flashing his quicker hands out in straight combos while circling in either direction. Barabanov shoeshines at stomach level but hits arm. Derevyachenko brushes his hairline with an inclined right jab. They trade jabs tentatively at mid-range, both flinching away or aside. Derevyachenko hops around and places his feet before either shelling up to block Barabanov's left hooks or to peck in with 1-2s from body to head. Barabanov jabs into the guard and then quickly tries converting a hook downstairs. Derevyachenko leaps out of the way. Barabanov pressures Derevyachenko toward the ropes but can't pin him there with his heavy slow hooks. Derevyachenko ducks and scrambles past him, countering with fast hands.

    10-9 Derevyachenko

    10-9 Barabanov

    I can't believe I ****ing missed Lomachenko.

Of course his match was listed second on the WSB site and sequentially lightweight does follow the bantamweights that opened up the card...but usually they disrupt the sequence and put him on as the main event. I kinda figured they would do so and went to run a quick errand after the Toitov match. :-(

Wait, do I have the names mixed up? Guy in blue and yellow Otaman colors is doing better - he's Derevyachenko, right? (I'm assuming because that is the more Ukrainian-sounding name; I missed the introductions and they don't have names on their trunks.)

****, no, I had their names crossed. The southpaw counter-puncher in blue and yellow is up on my card 2-0. Apparently he is Barabanov.

All three judges gave it 10-9 to Derevyachenko and have it 20-18 to Derevyachenko

    I have it the opposite.

Blue and Yellow is Barabanov. Derevyanchenko in Gold/Black is Ukrainian and from Ukraine but he fights for Kazakhstan in WSB.

Good news Mytrofanov is listed for Ukraine' MW fight tomorrow

    Round 3

Derevyachenko is finding a home for his right hand, plowing forward through Barabanov's quick counters and drilling with the 1-2, keeping his right hand drawn behind his chest like a bowstring when not throwing. Derevyachenko is rubbing Barabano'v abdomen like a saucier with short sweeping shots, focusing his body attack whenever Barabanov hops out of range of the big right hand aimed constantly at his face.

    10-9 Derevyachenko

    29-28 Barabanov

    Round 4

Derevyachenko is squatting low and shouldering up into Barabanov, physically ramming him in the direction he wants to push him and then hooking at the body or firing long uppercuts landing just above his upper thigh. Barabanov circles wide, then hugs when Derevyachenko gets close. Slapping right hooks from Barabanov as he tries maneuvering around Derevyachenko with quick feet. Derevyachenko turns and times him, firing before he's fully squared up and catching Barabanov in orbit with body and head shots. Barabanov leans against Derevyachenko's chest with both arms, shoving him back. Left hand leads chopped in as Barabanov preemptively leaps toward Derevyachenko before he can mount an offensive. Barabanov keeps hugging and pushing off to circle away.

    10-9 Derevyachenko

    38-38
