Round 1

Gvozdyk is curling his back and jabbing at Kamara's chest, then swaying side to side with his fists making a blockade as Kamara looks to swing wide hooks in counter. Gvozdyk is scoring repeatedly with the jab up and down. Kamara backpedals and misses hooks. BIG left to the chin by Gvozdyk just as Kamara finds some success drumming his midsection, dropping Kamara on his the seat of his trunks. Kamara rises in a hurry. Gvozdyk keeps targeting the body, now with straight rights. Kamara windmills back at him.

Round 2

Gvozdyk is assailing Kamara with jabs and hard crashing tidal wave rights to the top of the head. Kamara tries to push him out of range and circle. Kamara is looking to establish his own left jab from outside. Kamara bobs and blocks, then pushes in and leans against Gvozdyk to force a referee break and get back to the outside, stalling for time. Lots of clinching. Wild upward swings by Kamara, Gvozdyk tilting himself out of harm's way and recoiling elastically with hard combos. Kamara taps the body while pressing in for a leaning clinch. 1-2 by Gvozdyk as they step together, and Kamara wings him with a right to the ear.

Judges 1 & 3 gave it 10-9 to Kamara and have it 19-18 to Gvozdyk overall.

Judge 2 gave it to Gvozdyk and has it 20-17 to Gvozdyk overall.

 

Round 3

Gvozdyk is tiring a bit, perhaps. Kamara is finding a home for his left hook, and turning Gvozdyk's head with it. Gvozdyk is now initiating a bit of the holding. Shoeshine downstairs by Gvozdyk. Kamara reaches high with a hook and is knocked back a step by Gvozdyk's. Kamara sticks the jab into Gvozdyk's face, keeping it holstered at his hip between throws while backing up. Kamara's back hits the ropes and he angles out toward the center. Wild left hook by Gvozdyk, ducked by Kamara. Right hand to the sideburns by Kamara. Gvozdyk raps a few jabs off of Kamara's fists on the outside, slowly pressing in. Gvozdyk misses an uppercut and Kamara misses a pair of hooks as they both stand in place. Body shots by Kamara.

Round 4

Gvozdyk is ripping into Kamara with hooks and straight rights, stepping widely around him and not letting him escape out the side door. Kamara seeks out the ropes as Gvozdyk hunts him relentlessly, working combos up top and finishing at times with a hook to the liver. Gvozdyk is getting pulled into clinches as Kamara lays on the ropes. HARD right hand to the pate by Gvozdyk. Kamara tries to thread in a few shots but is getting smacked around by Gvozdyk's combination punching.

Round 5

Gvozdyk is getting snatched and wrestled as Kamara feigns hooks to get his arms around him. Gvozdyk whips him with uppercuts to the flanks and is a willing participant in the clinches, taking opportunities to rest between loading up on big shots. Gvozdyk is mixing in plenty of uppercuts now, creating openings for Kamara to land his counter left hooks. Hard leather being traded; Gvozdyk getting the best of it.
