I caught the last fight (Babanin vs Payares)

Babanin (who has enormous moobs btw) KO'd Payares with a nice straight right during round 1

Bantamweight

Grzegoz Kozlowski vs Gairbek Germankhov

(Gangam style playing in the arenaatsch:dead)

 

Round 1

Germakhov is visibly faster than Kozlowski. He gets in a couple of nice body shots during the first minute of the round. Kozlowski tries to establish his jab, but everything gets blocked. Germakhov is smashing him up with more body shots & hooks. The Azeri is simply outclassing the Pole.

10-9 Germankhov

 

Is Elvadez Petruaskus fighting in the WSB? Seem to remember he had a pro style and very aggressive.

 

Round 2

Germakhov landing some hard straight punches through Kozlowski's guard. A lot of crushing body shots from he Azeri- I don't know whether Kozlowski will be able to take them much longer.

20-18 Germakhov

 

Round 3

Kozlowski cant get in range. His timing is pretty bad. Germakhov countering him with straight punches & smashing him up with body shots. This is a one sided beatdown.

30-27 Germakhanov

 

Round 4

The Pole is still trying to get in range, but he seems very timid. He stands in front of Germakhanov and keeps eating hooks to the body (although he's taking it surprisingly well). Germakhanov is swarming Kozlowski on the ropes, but the Pole manages to get out. He's a VERY tough kid. He keeps coming forward despite of the punishment.

40- 36 Germakhanov

 

Round 5

A lot of Kozlowski's punches are hitting air. He's constantly getting countered by straight lefts & crushing body shots. The Pole is very tough, but Germakhanov is on an entirely different level.

50-45 Germakhanov

 

And Germakhanov wins an UD (50-45 on all the scorecards).

Next fight:

Albert Selimov vs Jacek Wylezol

Judging from the Pole's previous performances, he is bound to get the living **** beaten out of him by Selimov.

 

Round 1

Wylezol throwing some looping hooks & missing. Selimov catches him with some right jabs & hooks to the body. Boring round

10-9 Selimov

One cannot help but notice the awful music playing in between rounds.

 

Round 2

The Pole lands some hooks behind Selimov's guard. He's pretty Slippery, but the Russian gets on the inside & punishes Wylezol with body shots. Selimov lands a big straight left at the end of the round.

20-18 Selimov

 

Round 3

Both guys come out with their hands down. Selimov lands some nice uppercuts, while Wylezol throws his timid jab.

30-27 Selimov

 

Round 4

Someone should teach Wylezol how to keep his hands up, because he's not slick or fast enough to fight like he's RJJ... Selimov counters him whenever he throws his air punches. The Russian is winning, but he is not impressive at all.

40-36 Selimov

 

Round 5

Wylezol lands some nice right hands while Selimov keeps his hands down. The Pole gets countered with a big uppercut. Wylezol gets hit with a huge left hand which visibly stuns him- the judge gives him an 8 count. Both guys brawling in the middle of the ring, Selimov is getting the better of it.

Selimov wins an UD (50-44 on all the scorecards)
