I've been seeing a lot of that, with many of the teams. Are there any rules regarding who a fighter can fight for, regarding the teams? Or does it not matter?

I think a certain # of members can be foreigners.

    Vysotsky would know.

The ref is Belarusian...or Bulgarian...whichever is abbreviated BLR. (the flag colors were red and green, but that could be either :?)

    Round 1

Suarez is pressing in fast on Yunusov, throwing big right hands to the body and following with thudding hooks to the crossed forearm. Yunusov is having a difficult time getting Suarez's respect and holding him off. Big combos keep raining down from Suarez, much of them blocked but leaving Yunusov cowering against the ropes and unable to filter everything out with Suarez varying his placement across a wide blast area. Yunusov is responding very poorly to Suarez's pressure.

    10-9 Suarez

    Charly looks like a monster.

USA could be facing an 0-2 deficit unless Yunusov can solve this puzzle.

    Round 2

They both jab from outside, Suarez batting Yunusov's aside in a sweeping motion and matching him throw per throw. Yunusov tries to preemptively strike with a chopping flurry but Suarez pins his arms to catch Yunusov's wrist and then hauls him off. Suarez darts in and out with rights and single jabs, just missing. Clinch, Yunusov carrying Suarez a few steps until a break. BIG right hand by Suarez. Yunusov is left off balance and bent to one side, but parlays the position into a big right hook that scores nicely to the chin. Suarez is getting a bit overconfident coming in. Again Yunusov counters with a fully-revolved right hook and Suarez goes down. Their lead feet were tripped up, but there was also a punch. The ref calls it a KD and applies a count. Lead rights by Suarez coming forward, chasing Yunusov, tickling his forehead but also eating jabs on the way in. Yunusov throws the southpaw 1-2 between a few of Suarez's slices.

    10-8 Yunusov

    19-18 Yunusov

Judges 1 & 3 gave it 10-8 to Yunusov and have it 19-18 to Yunusov overall.

Judge 2 only gave it 10-9 to Yunusov (meaning he probably had it a Suarez round without the KD, which I disagree with but can understand) and has it level at 19-19.

    Round 3

Yunusov is staying back, shimmying side to side and keeping Suarez at bay with an outwardly turned right jab to the nose, almost palming Suarez's face. Left hand leads by Yunusov also getting the job done. Suarez is putting everything into torpedo right hands diving in and heavy left hooks up top, always falling into clinches. Constant separation needed by the ref. Good body shots by Suarez. Yunusov hops in and places a jab atop Suarez's hairline, then swerves back out of the way as Suarez tries for a decapitating hook. Right jab again by Yunusov from a safe distance.

10-9 Yunusov, but airtight. Suarez nicked him a few times, but the fact that many were rabbit punches as Yunusov was ducking in the clinches prevent me from scoring them and shifting it his way.

    29-27 Yunusov

    Round 4

Yunusov is throwing straight doubles and triples, totally amateur style, just aiming to touch Suarez without any meaningful impact. Suarez is on the back foot, flinching and jerking his neck to avoid what his gloves can't pick off. Little offense coming back, but Suarez does pitch forward and roll his fists in when Yunusov eases off the gas pedal. Suarez is starting to spend more time on the aggressive in the final minute and tags Yunusov unawares from outside with some sudden right hands from down low.

    10-9 Suarez

    38-37 Yunusov
