60, 64, 69KG in Ukraine is stacked and alot of them fight in more than one weightclass.

Khytrov was listed on the WSB and Ukrainian sites as being on the team but he hasnt fought yet and is no longer listed on the WSB site as being on their roster. With Mytrofanov, Golub and Stretskyy they're as good as any MW linup in WSB, Derevyanchenko is the MW king and Mytrofanov got robbed against him, i had him winning 4-1.

I just want to see Khytrov go pro.

    ^^ Thanks guys!:good

Real wealth of potential pro talent on Ukraine's squad. Excited to see Loma and Usyk fight bigger guys. They are definitely undersized in their reapective divisions.

Odd how Khytrov has gone AWOL!

Big lads are rumbling tonight. :boxing1

6'5" Croatian sensation Filip Hrgovic represents Kazakhstan against Great Britain's 6'5" Joe Joyce. Both are unbeaten this season. Someone's 0 has gotta go!

    Hrgovic's last conquest:

    Joyce's:

Maxwell vs Mussafirov - should be a competitive fight. 50/50 don't know who will get this.

Evans vs Bairkhanov - On paper Evans should be a huge favourite but i think Bairkhanov is actually going to be a hard fight. If Evans wins this easy ill be impresed

Kamara vs Sep - On paper Sep should be favourite but Kamara is a decent boxer and big so it may be difficult for the undersized pressure fighter Sep to impose himself. Close fight too i think

Joyce vs Hrgovic - Joyce has good size, is well rounded and decent but not as polished as Hrgovic and i think it wil show. Uk's Joyce and Fa are both good HW's but not good enough to beat the elite WSB HW's.

So the overall meet is pretty much a toss-up?

Selby, Evans and Hrgovic should win, the other 2 are toss ups and the Evans fight will be a bigger test than expected imo.

Important week too as #3 Uk and #4 Ukraine have the same number of individual wins and losses but UK have one more team win. If they lose the team matchup its possible for Ukraine to move ahead of them this week. Whoever finishes 4th will fight Azerbaijan in the QF of the playoffs, 3rd faces Mexico.

    - Sep had no problem getting inside and overpowering Kamara with his strength and work rate which was a little suprising and impressive winning 5-0

    - Maxwell wins a hometown decision and got huge hometown reffing. smh

Left work for a veterinary emergency, made it home for the exact midpoint of the meet. Round 3 of the middleweights, Freddie Evans vs. Miras Bairkhanov, and the commentators are griping about something with the reffing?

The southpaw Kazakh really took it to Evans in the 3rd, swarming him with body shots and yoking him into rough clinches. Bairkhanov is up on the cards.

The 4th was equally messy. The judges split on it. Two have Bairkhanov up 3-1, and the other a draw.

Big right check hook by Evans with the 5th winding down, dropping Bairkhanov!! That should swing it his way, but still leave him losing a narrow SD.

Nope, the ref called it a slip.

Replay shows it was to the back of the neck.

    Official cards:

    Judge 1 - 48-47 Bairkhanov
    Judge 2 - 48-46 Evans
    Judge 3 - 48-47

    Winner by SD...Freddie Evans!

    GB is up 2-1.

Evans blames his performance on poor fitness.

Toitov is making his WSB debut, with the meet on the line...against the highly touted Welshman.

    No pressure or anything! :scaredas:
