Round 4

Bauderlique is putting out a light curtain-spreading right jab and then pounding down with the left hand over the top behind it. Jara backs away with a straight left jab. Flush overhand left by Bauderlique. Jara clinches. Break. Sloppy pushing on the break, and Jara goes down. Time in. Another overhand left flush by Bauderlique. The ref is warning Bauderlique for shoving and rough shaking. Jara is inviting a lot of it by holding, diving in to escape the suddenly focused overhand left attack. Bauderlique keeps carpet bombing on the way forward, getting grabbed and trying to violently shirk Jara without getting penalized.

All three judges gave it 10-9 to Bauderlique and have it 39-37 Jara overall.

 

Round 5

Bauderlique throws a hard left to the body and Jara dances back out of the way. Jara is up on his toes bouncing around the ring. Bauderlique pushes in on him against the ropes and chucks a left hand over his head. Body shots while propped together by Bauderlique. Jara puts a stiff jab in his face sidestepping away off the ropes. Neatly placed overhand left by Bauderlique, dropped onto Jara's cheek from outside like a guided missile. Jara backs up and sets his stance to fire straight right leads to the body before gathering himself up to repeat. Bauderlique keeps coming. Jara ties up. Break. Problem with Jara's glove tape. They fix it in the corner. Time in. Bauderlique comes forward clubbing and is warned for straying low. Sloppy hooks by both men, tired. Bauderlique eats a few jabs coming forward. Clinch.

Round 1

Bravo is jabbing hard into the upheld forearms of Diane, stepping back and throwing a right cross. Wide powerful hooks by Diane after waiting for and spotting an opening. Bravo is backing up with his guard lowered after getting off and Diane is looking to exploit it with a big shot. Lots of jabs by Bravo while circling, most hitting the forearms of Diane. Body shots by Diane. Uppercut flurry by Bravo circling off the ropes. Left dig to the body by Bravo.

Round 2

Bravo is jabbing into the high forearm of Diane and tossing the uppercut from too far away. Diane keeps jabbing down low and throwing powerful hooks up at the head of Bravo. Sloppy wide combo by Bravo, head hunting from a distance. Diane weaves in with his left held low. A bit of rolling and slipping in the pocket by Diane, and hooks up into the sides of Bravo's head. Fluttering left jab by Bravo while moving away en pointe. Light uppercut hook combo by Bravo standing upright. Hooks to the body by Diane.

All three judges gave it 10-9 to Diane and have it 20-18 Diane overall.

 

Round 3

Bravo is backed to the ropes as Diane targets the body leaning forward and slicing in the left. Bravo triples a slow jab. Uppercut lead by Bravo sets up a telegraphed left hook caught on the vertical right forearm of Diane. Underhand thumps to the body by Diane. Clinch. Break. Pecking jab to the guard by Diane and a right hand whipped over the top. Light uppercut flurry by Bravo stepping around. Clinch. BIG hooking combos to the face by Diane, shuffling quickly to his left in a low bend with his head pulled down tightly between his shoulders and then letting his hands fly again, smashing Bravo from either side. Bravo squeezes his arms together over his face and presses in, tossing light 1-2s down at Diane and getting blocked.

Judge 1 gave it 10-9 to Diane and has it 30-27 Diane overall.

Judges 2 and 3 gave it 10-9 to Bravo and have it 29-28 Diane overall.

 

Round 4

Bravo comes forward with the 1-2 and hurts Diane briefly! The crowd exalts! Big ramrod jabs and straight rights by Bravo, trying to finish Diane on the ropes. Diane comes back, recovered and landing his own hooks and crosses. Bravo forces the issue, stepping in behind a jab and eating counters. Uppercut whipped in to the belly by Bravo, more aggressive and confident than any point yet. Diane encircles his large chest in both arms. Break ordered. 1-2-1-2 by Bravo again driving Diane to the ropes. Clinch. Bravo takes a full-power hook to the temple as Diane tries to fend him off and taps him with an uppercut to the upper ribs. Body shots by Bravo, tiring, mostly arm punches.
