They are trading leather!! Right hook/overhand left combo on endless repeat for Alimbekov as he gallops in diagonals and in short trails in either lateral direction. Perrin comes straight at him, blocking a few shots but paying no mind when he starts eating them flush as he winds up for his own big overhand right. Perrin chops Alimbekov hard across the face and may have cut him...definitely stunned him. Alimbekov keeps leading Perrin on a chase using every inch of the ring, slapping away and landing more - at times rolling fist over fist as though working a speedbag - but Perrin by far has the edge in powerful blows.

Honestly depending on your preferential criteria in scoring, the last three were close enough that anywhere from that Alimbekov shutout to 48-47 Perrin could be argued.

Konstantin Snigur vs. Henrri David Polanco, middleweights (68-73kg)

 

Round 1

Snigur is snapping his jab up into Polanco's face and then whipping around with roundhouse swings of his right. Polanco jerks his shoulders out to slip jabs and waves his left arm up to catch the wild rights. Little offense coming back from Polanco. Snigur tries clubbing down at him but they lean in and tie up.

All three judges gave it 10-9 to Snigur.

Round 2

Snigur is still forking the jab up into Polanco's face, holstering it low against his chest and throwing at different speeds and heights. Quick rainbow right hand and left hook by Snigur, catching Polanco flush and freezing him in place for a moment. In and out short combos by Snigur. Polanco tries timing him with an uppercut and gets cracked. Polanco drops in and grabs Snigur by the hips to stay upright. Polanco could get kayoed.
