Great Britain and Mexico are currently deadlocked 4:4 in bouts in the quarterfinals.

Either can eliminate the other with a pair of consecutive victories here at LHW and HW.

 

Round 1

Muñoz and Kamara both start fast, eager to show off their firepower. Jabs, hooks, and 1-2s flow freely between them. Minimal interference from the ref, clean mid-range fighting. No D, just taking turns teeing off. Uppercuts favored by Kamara. Muñoz likes the right hand whistling over the top. Neither can miss their jab.

Round 2

Muñoz is winding up the right hand overhead and showing the jab before it crashes down. Kamara flicks his own jab and brings in the right uppercut behind it, ramming into Muñoz's chest. Right hand by Muñoz. Kamara waves his fists around on the way in, then shoot up his right while falling forward.

Round 3

Muñoz is hurtling side to side to slip Kamara's jabs and then exploding with right hands and left hooks pressing in. Kamara holds until the ref splits them and then works off his jab, throwing hooks to the body and lunging rights to the temple. Muñoz uses both arms to shove Kamara a few paces and then ships a right hand after him. Muñoz ducks a Kamara hook and whips an underhand right up into his face.

Kamara is working the uppercut from different ranges, hitting Muñoz in the chest from long range and on the hips up close. Jabs by Kamara when they're not clinching. Lead right by Kamara into the face of Muñoz. 1-2s and overhands by Muñoz, going up past Kamara's head.

Muñoz is swinging the right arm up and over past Kamara's jabs. Left hook to the body by Muñoz. Kamara puts a jab into Muñoz's face and clinches when he walks through it. BIG RIGHT HAND by Kamara. Muñoz is rocked but stays upright. Uppercut to the chest by Kamara leaning in. Both are tired. Muñoz throws an overhand right. Clinch. Body shots from Kamara. Muñoz misses some shots upstairs and Kamara slaps him with a left hook on the mouth.
