    Italy has conquered the meet.

Ukraine will need to sweep at home in leg 2 to eliminate them, no matter what the upcoming heavyweight result. (4 of 5 will force a tiebreaker if Modugno beats Usyk)

Well Italy is making Ukraine pay for using some 3rd and 4th rate guys along with a good Stankovic performance. Dumb decision making and after dong the same thing last time and barely getting by azerbaijan you think they would have learned but no.

Modungo took a knee and the ref didn't count it as a KD, wtf?

    Round 1

Modugno is circling on his toes around Usyk and laying out his left jab. Usyk slips it and counters with 1-2s and straight lefts as Modugno rolls himself up into a tight ball and falls to a wayside. Usyk is very spry in his evasive movements and very accurate with his counters, as usual.

    10-9 Usyk

All three judges gave it 10-9 to Usyk.

    Round 2

Wild left hook, right hand combo by Modugno. Usyk slips it expertly. 1-1-2 by Usyk, putting Modugno to the ropes. Another. Knockdown!! Bang-bang-bang! Modugno on his knees. Waved off!

    KO2!!!

    Very nice.

    Picardi vs Butsenko
    Valentino vs Lomachenko
    Mangicappre/Tavares vs Mytrofanov/Golub (tie breaker is MW's)
    Benchabla vs Gvozdyk
    Russo vs Arkhypenko/Vykhryst

winning 4/5 will be tough but possible and the tiebreaker would be a close fight too.
