Probably. The early 2000s team had Kindelan, Rigo, Solis and Aragon, but the present one is even better imo.

They had more than 4. In 2001 they won 7 golds.

I'm just saying that it was a very good Cuban generation as well, but probably not as good as the present one, I agree with you.

Ukraine Otamans vs British Lionhearts was a great match-up ending in 3-2 for Ukraine.

Selby losing unexpected the first bout, but Tabiri-Essuman did really good and picked up a good win.
In the LHW I was impressed with 19 year old Khyzniak, who had great power and may become a new LHW-star.
In the final bout the British powerhouse Joseph Joyce was too strong for his opponent.

Poland almost scored an upset wint against Kazachstan, but Kazachstan came back after 1-2 after 3 matches to a 3-2 vicory. Poland showed they have become stronger with good victories by Michelus and Donnely, but in the last bout of the night Hrgovic dominated his Polish opoonent.

2 great matches and I hope tonight will be good.
USA vs Italy looks like a good match-up.

Cuba just collected their second clean sweep. 5-0 against Algeria Desert Hawks, who have one of the weakest teams in the WSB.
I was not impressed with La Cruz this time, he was showboating, came in with no defense and got hit a few teams against a very mediocre opponent.
    Team Cuba still big favourites.

    Some close bouts last nights.

China Dragons - Ukraine Otamans 2-3
China came up 2-1, but Ukraine was better in the upper classes and won the last 2 bouts by TKO securing the win

Morocco Atlas Lions - British Lionhears 3-2
First win for Morocco, who came up 2-0, but the Brits struck back. In the 4th bout Anthony Fowler dominated his opponent, but almost lost on a cut. In the last and decisive bout the Romanian Tarru for British Lionherts had to give up with shoulder injury so the Atlas Lions won.

USA Knockouts - Caciques Venezuela 3-2
USA still undefeated, but almost all bouts were close. Joshua Temple securing the point in the last bout with wild actions and knock-outing his opponent

Cuba Domadores - Russian Boxing Teams 5-0
Another 5-0 for Cuba who haven't lost a single match yet!
Great display by light Welter Toledo who won a tough bout. Savon showed he's the best HW at the moment by securing another first round TKO against Russian Zaytsev

Mexico Guerreros - Algeria Desert Hawks 4-1
Algeria won the opening HW bout but after that Mexico dominated with a great first round stoppage by Velasquez. Algeria probably the weakest team in competition.

    Last night in Group B:

Azerbeijan Baku Fires - Astana Arlans Kazachstan 2-3

The first win for Italy against the surprising Puerto Rican team. Easy victories by Irish fighters Barnes (3-0) and Conlan (TKO, RD3) and medal winner Mangiacapre.

Rafako Husars Poland - Argentina Condors 5-0
First win for Poland against a weak Argentinian team. The Light Welterweight fight was close but in the HW's the Polish Jakubowski scored a devastating KO against Brazilian Elber Santos.

    1. USA 3-9
    2. Kazachstan 3-9
