Well CAnelo just faced his MANDO who he fights next doesn't really MATTER in his Voluntary. If he doesn't fight another top guy after his next fight then Okay.. yall' can **** on him. But come on he just fought a guy and domintaed him ...

There were saying ON ESB that Canelo would never fight his MANDO in RHodes because they would protect him to much... yet he did and completely man handled him.

Where was all the hate when Cotto a proven top GUY who was once considered elite... where was the hate for a MAYORGA fight who was unranked and not a Mando nor contender...? Free PASS? ESB is ****.....

A lot of people didn't approve of Cotto fighting Mayorga, but at least Cotto earned his title. He won it in a fight many expected him to lose.

Alvarez fought a nobody, can in overweight but still qualified to win the title. The WBC broke every rule to make sure he has a title. Pure corruption.

People don't respect him because he won the title the same way Berto did. if he want respect from hardcore fans, he need to step up. With a defeat, Mayorga's stock drops. They're both Cotto's leftovers.

If I was his manager, Mayorga and Gomez would be the fights I'd get for him too. Build up his experience and hype, meanwhile keep him away from a live dog in Matirosyn (at same time let Matirosyn build up some of his own hype).

I'm kind of suprised that Mayorga's been so quite lately. He was all about fighting Chavez, haven't heard him talk about Alvarez at all.

 

This kid has too much drawing power. I don't expect to see him in against a guy who on paper can beat him for a long time if ever.
