Calling himself the viking warrior, Kessler should love to go abroad to fight and win......but Kessler seems so much comfortable at home. Hopefully it will show vs. Froch...?

If Ward and Kessler will meet later in this tournament, how will they decide where to fight...? In all fairness it should be i Denmark, but.........................................

I don't know why people can't give credit where credit is due.

Had the ref warned Ward about not coming in with his head first or even taken a point away from Ward things might have looked different for Kessler. I'd like to give Mikkel the benefit of the doubt because Ward wasn't really hurting him seriously with anything but the headbutts. Also, I'd still say that it's not fair to judge Ward based on the Kessler fight because of the advantages that was given to Ward (hometown+refs). Let's see how Ward does against Dirrell. Remember that Ward have had no impressive pro-fights before the Kessler fight.

Ward is no power puncher by any means...That little part I can agree with you own but lets not kid ourselves either...He does have enough power to keep you honest also...Ward has the power to make his opponents think twice...He can wear you down and get you out of there if he only sat down on his punches just a little bit!

Kessler is going to have to come up with a plan a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h, ect... to compete with Ward IMO...Reason being, Kessler tend to look lost when his initial game plan isnt effective...Kessler has a history of this...Go back and look at the Calzghe fight for my reference...Kessler made it a fight before Calzghe stepped up the pace...After Calzaghe turned on the heat and started to outbox Kessler...Kessler didnt have a clue to what to do...Same goes with the Ward fight...When Ward switched up stances...Kessler again looked lost and didnt have a clue to negate Ward's attack...He might have some success if the do meet, I wont deny that, but Ward will only get better himself and I just dont see Kessler handling Ward's offensive attack.

I hope they do meet again...this time on a neutral and\or Kessler turf...Just to prove it the fight was won on skill not by the biasness of the judges and the biasness of the crown and the ref...I think Ward beats him more convincingly this time around!

Just my opinion on it though!:good

I think Ward is just miles ahead of him as far as raw TALENT....Dont get me wrong...I'm not bashing nor am I'm trying to downplay Kessler by anymeans...I'm just calling it like I see and I think a guy like Ward is a bad match up for Kessler (stylisticly) So yes IMO, I could see Ward beating Kessler 10/10 times if the do fight that many times....Ward will keep on getting better, same with Kessler, but given that Ward has the style to offset Kessler tempo, and rythem...One has to think that Kessler gets frustrated after Ward give Kessler different looks in which Kessler cant seem to crack the code for....Until Kessler can show he can think on his feet (meaning come up with a different game plan when his first on isnt working) then I would give him a better chance!

    This only my opinion though!:good

I think Ward still would have dominated Kessler regardless given on how Ward took it to Kessler...I can live with somebody saying that Ward did those butts on purpose...Me personally I dont think he did all of those butts on purpose...It was more of a clash of styles! but I do agree that the ref. should have at least took one point away...(AT LEAST ONE POINT or a warning)

I think people can make a case for Miranda as being a big win for Ward before he fought Kessler...Ward dominated Miranda by beating him at his own game...So he did have at least one impressive pro-fight before the Kessler fight!

The above three posts are 100% accurate. Kessler knew he was in deep **** as soon as he landed on Ward's turf and began getting lit up in sparring by locals from the same turf. One more thing, if they meet again, Ward is entering his prime, as Kessler is exiting it. Time only favors Ward as far as the two of them fighting again goes.

Any names or videos? I'd like to see it or at least look up the guys who were giving him trouble.

Those were private sessions. But this guy handled Kessler easily in sparring.......http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=384481&cat=boxer.

He will inevitably be a champ soon. It's just a question of how soon.

I like Bronx as a poster, but this thread is a little embarrassing. There was NOTHING unpredictable about that outcome. That was Ward/Miranda part two, only worse, which was written all over the tapes before it happened. PLENTY of us expected Ward to have his way with Kessler.

No doubt. And let's call it like we see it...Miranda fought Ward much better than Kessler did.

Easily, but very unheard of so far. He had a very good amateur career. He and Ward go to war in sparring.

    Fixed your post:

LMAO at the excuses. kessler got the dog **** headed out of him.

    Note:
Kicking is carried out using your feet. I was waiting for Ward to start kicking Kessler but it never materialised.
