Freddy, calm down. I gather that you're more of a fan than a hater. I too am frustrated that Kostya didn't do more after 140 but you take a step back and realize that we would have to imagine another fighter doing what he did because nobody else has or will(in the forseeable future) do what he's done.

I'm of the opinion that 140 was Kostyas perfect weight and that he would'nt have performed nearly as well(think Cotto for a good comparison)

When you start so many sentences with "Imagine" it only goes further in solidifying my point and the point of many others.....With Kostya, we don't have to imagine. He ****ing did it!

I like how this thread has gone on for 21 pages so far, when Tyson got in with no audible objections even though Tyson and Tszyu's resumes have much in common, actually Tszyu beat comparible better competition. If you believe Tszyu shouldn't be in, than Tyson shouldn't be either.

Great comparison and an obvious point that will be ignored by the thread starter as it doesnt fall in with his agenda.

his reign of the IBF was all on his home turf....
got ktfo then came back to win a vacant title...
after that his defenses were pretty good, but no where near great...beat zab which i give tons of credit for, but then retired after ricky ****en mauled him.......

and now, FIRST ****EN BALLOT HOF'ER.....WOW, JUST WOW
this will open the door wide open for anyone to get in now......

I'm guessing that a lot of people in this thread in this thread weren't around boxing when KT was coming up and in his prime. He was a ****ing unstoppable monster, and he was seen that way, and NOBODY wanted to **** with him. KT had one of the greatest amateur careers in history Freddie, and could have taken the title in his pro debut. You keep calling him a 'b' fighter.. how many B fighters can claim that? Seriously, you're coming off as a total hater in this thread, worse than any Void fan. Much worse. Me personally, I give greater props to a fighter who rules his division long term with an iron fist than someone who skips around in weight classes.

You're acting like KT tried to avoid big fights, which is ridiculous. KT didn't fight for money? He didn't want those big paydays? The guys with big names went straight from LW to WW to avoid KT's right hand, and they had damn good reason to do so. Just like nobody really wanted to fight JMM at featherweight, nobody wanted to come calling on KT at 140. There were other fighters to fight for the same money that didn't pose a fraction of the threat that KT did.

If you're a JCC fan, you should know that JCC would give MUCH respect to a fighter like KT. If you're doing this because you're a Zab fan then I guess there's not much point in talking to you at all lol

 You are probably the only person on the forum that believes that. He lost a 10-9 round, how does that make him almost knocked out?

Care to show us in those 3 minutes where he was "almost knocked out"?
