wtf did Kostya Tszyu do to get into the HOF ????

    ok so you provide a link with facts i already know...facts that prove that 140 was absolute garbage at that time...the fact that never once did he ever try to challenge himself at a higher weight...the fact that when hatton raped him, he quit boxing...the fact that all those names in the link never amounted to **** after fighting kostya, MAINLY CAUSE THEY WERE OLD, AND SOME HAD PADDED RECORDS......

    listen, i aint talking smack about kostyas character...the dude obviously is a stand up guy (or is he..getting sued by old trainers that he ripped off :huh)...but being nice, and having a nice amateur backround should not get you into the boxing HOF....there should be a seperate amateur one...and that's one that kostya can rule.

    I can't understand how Koysta can get into the Hall of Fame either. I remember watching him fighting Hector Lopez on USA Tuesday night fights or ESPN back in '94 and I thought he was thoroughly outpointed by Lopez over 10 rounds. But of course they gave the decision to Koysta because he was the young up and coming fighter and profiled extensively on the network giving him a big buildup.

    From there on I avoided watching him again until one of my favorite fighters, Vince Phillips fought for a title with Tszyu and Cool Vince kicked the livin' **** out of him.

    His final fight with Ricky Hatton... Tszyu resigns quitting on his stool, unlike old Vince Phillips who goes the full 12 with Hatton.

    Yeah, a real Hall of Famer that Tszyu.

    No, Chavez is not a part of that era, nor for consideration in his HoF worthiness.

    Tsyzu is right up there with an above the likes of SRL, SRR, Ali, Duran etc... in terms of pure ability and skill.

    All that held back his legacy were his fear factor and average marketability in the US.
