This has always puzzled me Lashley could be every bit the draw to UFC Lesnar is and man what a fight it would make if these two squared up!

I mean sure Lashley is greener than Lesnar but 2-3 fights in? This fight would sell any UFC PPV card just think of all the MMA fans AND Wrestling fans who'd tune in....

Lashley is definitely not every bit the draw that Lesnar is. Not even close.

One of the main reasons he isn't already his is down to Lashley himself. When he moved into MMA, he said he wanted to build himself up first on the smaller shows before he makes the step up. Dana has recently said that they are keeping an eye on him, if he keeps winning I'm sure he will end up in the UFC soon.

Lashley is still doing wrestling. He signed a deal with TNA just recently. As yet - he has not made a serious transition into MMA.

give the man sometime he obviously wants to be financially secure before completely changing work, until he fully retires from pro wrestling its hard to take him fully serious, but him and lesnar would be huge in north america all those wrestling kids have posters above their beds of both guys

Lashley is doing both. He signed with the TNA and will still continue to fight in MMA.

Nah he is still fighting, he is just wrestling part-time as well.

Not at all. Barnett Fujita and Hunt were able to do both. I believe Brock was still contracted to NJPW before he made his debut in HERO's. Theres no reason why fighters cannot do both. Lashley is no exception. More power to him. He has a family to look after. Id still love to see him and Lesnar go at it in the Octagon.

He's already signed to fight Waterman. Waterman is a very good test who is versed in plenty of submissions. He MUST get by Ron to be taken seriously. A loss pretty much ends any interest in Lashley as a serious threat in MMA. Incidentally Waterman used to train Carwin and said Carwin was a better wrestler than Brock but Brock was more athletic.

to compete at the very top where i think lashley could go he needs to pack the pro wrestling in, the only thing keeping them there is $$ and the lack of it in mma, money comes first which i respect but physically untill 100% commitment is given then ill hold it against whomever

TNA works a limited schedule all Lashley has to do is work 3 days a month for TNA 2 of which are a guarantee to be in Florida the same state that he trains at. Alot of guys have other jobs outside of fighting and Lashleys happens to be a Pro Wrestler whats wrong with that ? I like the route hes going now hes got some raw talent and needs to be polished up alittle I would honestly rather see him in Strikeforce.

Exactly. This isnt the WWE. He wont be on the road for long periods of time nor will he have a demanding schedule. TNA will take whomever they can get and treat them good espcially WWE leftovers. Totally agree though its time for Bobby to sign with Strikeforce.

nothing wrong with pro wrestling when its only 3 days a month and not going to affect his training or recovery, i thought he was contracted to be doing every second night and stuff like that, now if that was the case there would be a problem

Strikeforce could make Lashley their Lesnar.
