Wasn't TV money the only money he was getting - as Wlad was getting the gate money and other promotional receipts? If so and Setanta haven't got cash in the bank then an injury might be a blessing in disguise.

 

ITV pulling the plug, fights getting called off left, right and centre, setanta likely going under. what a wonder week its been

If this had been the otherway around - David Haye would have rubbished Wlad to the hilt.

I really hope this is genuine, does seem odd how they can't say what injury it is, normally you get the reason why straight away- i think if i was in hayes shoes i would want the public to know why he couldn't fight.

Hayes had hand problems for years. I'm sure Haye will have to get comfirmation of injury from a doctor. For me the alarm bells will start ringing if it turns out to be a back or knee injury, they are pretty hard to prove or disprove....
