WTF Haye Sports Personality!!!

    The BBC have decided to nominate Haye as one of 10 sports personalities in 2010. If any UK boxer should be in here it should be Froch.

    What a joke, a defence against a US has been and one against a UK never has been.

    BBC hang your head in shame.

    Is this for real? I seen that Haye had been nominated but I didn't realise Froch hadn't? Was this before the Abraham fight?

    the BBC are idioys. Hes only been picked because he's a big name over here. The people who have picked him have probably never seen him fight and if they read the newspapers over here the probably think Ruiz was an ATG

    That is just ignorant IMO then. It's probably because he lost against Kessler and the people who nominate don't have a clue and just thought Haye's won 2 and Froch has won 1 lost 1.

    The fact that he was even nominated just shows how far down hill peoples perception of boxing has become.

    I've never understood the Sports personality, does it actually have anything to do with said sportsmen/women's personality?

    Froch's win over Abraham will have been too late in the day for him to be nominated...this list will have been chosen weeks/months back.

    Boxing coverage in England is shocking. Don't know what it is like in USA but over here it's just awful. Most people probably haven't even heard of Carl Froch when he should be figure the country is proud of.
