scoring holyfield vs lewis 1 to holyfield (eugenia williams) was the kind of thing I would call a robbery. Although Lennox was hardly taking chances in that one.

the great thing about boxing is usually the wheel comes full circle. holyfield vs valuev was just as much of a robbery.

I thought Bradley took the first two and nicked the last three but even so there was still a spell of (minimum) six / seven rounds where Pac dominated.

I got the impression Manny may have thought (as most did) that he was so far ahead he just eased off in the last few rounds.

I echo this thread. It's left me feeling a bit empty with the sport.

The real worrying thing for me is I have heard several casual fans say they are done with boxing.

I woke up this morning, without knowing the result, & watched the fight in relaxed mode. Like most people I had Pac winning comfortably, & was so sure of the verdict, went through to make a coffee. Then I come back in to see Bradley grinning like he won??? so rewound to see the decision again, & my jaw dropped!

However, I must admit even though I was watching the fight "casually" without analysing every punch, I thought the rounds were a bit tighter than the HBO team were seeing it, & I had noticed from the 2nd round that Pac was 'coming to life' in the last minute of every round. I did think to myself that they were being a bit harsh to Bradley, but not that harsh as Pac was landing the eyecatching shots throughout.

All I do know is, Bradley picked his punches beautifully in the last 4 rounds, while Pac seemed to run out of ideas... I did think to myself that Pac was using a risky strategy by only fighting all out one minute a round, but his final minutes were good minutes until the 9th.

I gave bradley rounds 2,10 and 12. Rounds 1 and 2 where close and could of gone either way. Although pacquiao was doing nothing for 2 minutes of the round neither was bradley and he was backing off, a lot of his shots where hitting gloves (same for pacquiao really). But Bradley was hurt several times during the fight where pacquiao was never apart from maybe 1 shot.

It's a joke how bob arum and don king are still doing business is unbelievable. Its so obvious something dodgy is going, why isn't something done about it?

I feel that this is only the beginning with bad decisions. The criminals who are behind all these bad decisions know they can get by with it, so they will only keep the corruption up................

Echo these sentiments... this was laughable and its us the Boxing fan the punter the guy who pays his hard earned cash to watch these fights that are ultimately being screwed over ! .... this was an appalling decision and those who called it otherwise must be in cuckoo land !

If points were awarded for punches to the gloves then Bradley would have won ... He rarely got through Pacmans defence ! ....saying that full creds to Bradley for withstanding the mid fight onslaught and fighting right to the end ... but even in the post fight interviews he knew how fortunate that decision was ...

Im not would you describe as"die hard pac fan" i follow him but would not say im crazy about him. and even if i was a die hard fan it was terrible. it just simply ruins the sport I cannot see the point.

Yeah I agree with you mate.

I just dont see how Bradley can live with the fact that he thought he won legitimately. He knew that he didnt win but made out in some of his interviews that the fight was close. I honestly cant see how it was close? I know pac slowed down in later rounds and Bradley was throwing more but still.

I don't know what to think any more it has to a degree knocked my confidence in the sport which not only do i Compete in myself but watch as a hard core fan.

I dont know what it would/could be but they need to do something similar to football with reference to the ball going all the way over the goal line to be counter as a goal. like i said i dont know what to suggest but something should be in place to stop this kind of thing happening.

coz lets be honest this is not the first this year/end of last year nor will it be the last if it is left be. :patsch

Nothing surpirses me in boxing anymore, when you think you have seen everything something else pops up, its why I prefer domestic fights.
