WTF is Chad Dawson and his team thinking?

he's supposed to fight on Pascal's undercard in may

 

He's fighting Diaconu who's not too bad, and then he's going to take on Pascal.

Of course Chad Dawson is mentally handicapped so I don't think it'll really help him in any sense.

I never have been a fan of Dawson, and I never really understood the hype surrounding him. But Diaconu is a good opponent to come back to.

 

Chad is a victim of his own inactivity. He has elite boxing skills, make no mistake the guy has p4p boxing skills. But, the guy may indeed be cognitively challenged. I thought he was the real deal, the future best p4p boxer. The more he talks and the less he fights my hopes for him diminish.

Boxing doesnt take a deep thinker or even a normally functioning guy cognitively. but, there needs to be a level of mental strength within.

 

I don't know if anything has been officially announced, but the last time I checked Dawson was either going to fight Diaconu or Andrade, both of whom would draw in Canada.

 

Yea, that's the plan from what I understand - Hopkins-Pascal II and Dawson-Diaconu or Andrade as the co-feature.

 

Dawson needs to grow some balls.
He has the talent, but he doesn't have the hunger.

 

Dont feel bad man...I thought the exact samething...Given his potential and his skill set...I thought he was going to better than what he actually done already...Dawson has all of the tools to become a great fighter...He just needed to get stronger mentally..Dawson has only himself to blame for the slip we've seen from him lately...How he lost to Pascal kinda shows the point I'm stressing.

Hopefully Dawson can turn back to his old form and stop the menatlly weak stuff he's been showing as of lately.

 

Dawson was always looking for an easier way to the money

 

As stated by others, Dawson has elite skills. But evidently he doesn't have elite mental toughness. Dawson should beat Pascal 10 out of 10 times. And Dawson should take Diaconu to school. But it really depends which Chad shows up.

Pretty much sums it up...And nobody can deny the guy has some sick skills...Its all on how he plans to go about the fight that makes people wonder and question his toughness...A guy as talented as Dawson shouldnt have to have tough fights if he just fights to his potential and quit being afraid of being hit.
