"I feels as though it's Steve Forbes who is giving me the opportunity. He might be from the Contender but actually I am a contender now. I am not a champion so I am coming to fight as hard as I can..":rofl

Really? I wonder how fighting Forbes gives you a shot at the title. :huh

I bet The Ring makes its boss the number one contender for all the belts in one fatal swoop. But that would never happen in boxing, right? :-(

He should not be fighting Forbes, imo. Forbes deserves the payday, though.

DLH doesn't have to "work his way" up anything. He can get any fight he wants around his weight range.

Other guys "work their way up" for a fight with DLH.

I take it that Oscar knows he has let himself slip by being so inactive and involved with promoting. You can't maintain yourself at the top level when you are a part time boxer. It is amazing that he has done it for this long. He has to refocus and come into this fight like he is training for the biggest fight in his life.

People are bashing on Oscar for who he is fighitng. Why? He could have fought nobody. He isn't a Champion right now, so what the hell does it matter who he fights? It is on free HBO. Don't watch it if you think it is such an awful fight. I know that I will be watching... and I bet you will too.
