i mean to me that's pretty much clear as day. I dont see where the confusion is. Why would Oscar want to fight someone who lost his last fight?

 

I doubt he "knows he can't beat Mayweather". Though i definately think he can't.

He probably thinks, and rightly so, another ODLH - Mayweather fight is not marketable.

well he's totally wrong. Floyd kind of struggled against Oscar, and a fast, slick boxer is always gonna be a bad style matchup against an old guy.

Also, Hatton is an in-your-face fighter that would be outweighed by over 10 pounds.
