Yes -- very smart move on Dibella's part. Especially considering that neither Froch nor Pascal is anywhere near Taylor's level. I think Froch will win, and then JT will expose Froch.

Being american has nothing to do with it. The relevant fact is that they are B- or C+ fighters that will not be able to compete against world class opposition. Kessler would humilate either of these guys, Andrade and Bute beat both as well. Bika and Zuniga would give Froch all he could handle and then some. I full expect Froch to beat Pascal for the WBC title, and lose that title to Taylor on his first defense.

They are fairly on the same level but they didn't get a gift against Bernard Hopkins that's all.:good How do you knoe Jermain wil not look like **** with Lacy and get KTFO(highly unprobable)? Will he be better than them then too?

Supposedly they are fighting in Nashville on the campus of Vanderbilt University in their arena.

Likewise...although I don't think Taylor makes much noise past that level. I can't see him competing against the Pavlik, Kesslers, Andrades and Butes of the world.

That might be a little harsh, Arriba. He almost KO'd Pavlik in the first fight and fought very competitively in the rematch.

But, like you say, at the end of the day it is what it is. (Sorry, I couldn't resist.)

He was 166 in the Pavlik rematch. Are two pounds going to make that much of a difference?

And just who have guys like Bute and Andrade beat that makes it so obvious that Taylor can't compete with them?
