    if all these reports are true then they would indicate that Pac has a shitload of distractions when he steps in the ring which would probably have a negative impact on his mental focus and therefore his performance.

    pac needs to break away just like Oscar and Floyd did! Manny has fans and is a global star, he doesn't need BoB arum anymore!

    Arum is blackmailing Pac, that's why Pac won't leave. If Pac leaves Arum will begin to spread stories that Pac uses PEDs. Look at how Arum created a succesful propogada campaign against Mayweather when mayweather left him.

    Ok, so we have Koncz and Arum admitting that Pac's endorsement deals were in shambles as of early 2011 here:

    Then, we have the whole issue of Manny hiring Visionqwest to to sort out his finances and investigate any wrongdoings of people around him here:

    Then Manny fired Visionqwest allegedly at the behest of Arum, because they were going to get info from the NSAC regarding his Top Rank fight contracts.

    Hardly credible.

    Koncz and Arum saying that Pac's endorsement deals are in shambles doesn't mean that he is broke. It just means they think he could be making even more money.

    Pac just made 52M$ last year according to Forbes magazine and probably made around 40M the year before. Has an ongoing deal with Nike with a line of shoes that bear his name. He has a new commercial deal with HP with ads running on major networks, even news networks like CNN. And that's not counting his several other ad deals including head and shoulders, San Miguel, and some pharceuticals. He has several companies in his country including gas stations, bottled water, clothing, and more. He's also a congressman which I'm sure gets him paid as well. And he has another 25M$ purse coming up in November.

    To top it off he lives in a country where the cost of living is very very very low.


    You can believe what you want to believe, but it's not logical.

    I mean Kelly Pavlik? how would he know.

    So you believe Arum, who has a history of stealing money from his fighters, and indeed has been sued and lost because due to this, over Freddie Roach?

    And on top of that, he hires then fires an outside accounting firm in less than a month, because Arum said so?

    Visionqwest themselves confirmed this. Say what you will about fighthype, but they have quotes directly from execs at Visionqwest. And Koncz and Ariza seem to have no problem at all giving fighthype interviews (with Ariza often bashing Koncz).

    If fighthype wasnt credible, why would Team Pac constantly give them interviews?

    Fighthype is not under Arum's thumb, unlike the rest of the boxing media, who do anything Arum says as he controls thier access to Top Rank fighters (Cotto, Pac, etc.).

    Pac is also notorious for signing bad deals ( with Shaw, Murad Muhammad, signing exclusive deals with Top Rank/GBP AT THE SAME TIME). Arum is stealing from this man, just as he did Oscar and Floyd, and many others.

    As far as Pavlik, he has his problems, but why would he lie? He has no beef with Manny, he was just making a point. And with him knowing Arum and how Top Rank works, this DOES put him in some position to know.

    And that link to the Roach article looks legit. He said nothing out of the ordinary, and his quotes on the rest of the article seemed like things he would say. Roach was never a big Arum supporter anyway.

    So, do you still believe that everything is ok?

    You ask if I believe Arum, but I was commenting on your post where YOU brought up what Arum said.

    He has a deal with Nike with a line of shoes that bear his name. I didn't get this info from Bob Arum. This is common knowledge.

    He has a commercial deal with HP, with ads running on major networks. Once again I didn't get this info from Arum. I regularly see the ads on TV.

    He has several other endorsement deals including McDonalds, Head and Shoulders, San Miguel beer, some pharmaceuticals... I didn't get this info from Bob Arum. It's pretty common knowledge and if you don't believe me just google it.

    He has several businesses in the Philippines including gas stations, bottled water, clothing stores... once again that info doesn't come from Bob Arum, just google it.

    He's a congressman in the Phlippines... once again this is common knowledge, that info doesn't come from Bob Arum.

    So no, he is not broke. That's just stupid.


    As for Visionquest. He might have hired an accounting firm to check his ****, and then felt they were doing a shitty job so he fired them. As simple as that.

    As for Pavlik, he is obviously pissed at Arum after this whole Bute thing. Pac is Arum's #1 guy. So maybe he would lie because he's pissed at Arum. Not too complicated really.
