It's a good idea because they're recognising the best lightweight fight out there as their championship fight. Moses will remain mandatory to the winner.

Its strictly a cash grab by the WBA, nothing more. Typically, in order to get the WBA "super" champion title, you must already be the WBA regular champ, and win another belt. There has NEVER been a fight for a VACANT super champ title. And since the WBA doesnt recognize Ring or the IBO, the only other title there is the WBO. It's absurd. And if you really believe that Diaz or Marquez will fight that mando with Paulus Moses, then I want some of whatever you are smoking.

I do see your point, it is a money grab, but the winner of this fight is a better belt holder than Moses wouldn't you agree? I dislike the WBO also so I see the conflict of interests there as well. **** the belts I guess, it's a good fight regardless.

well, you cant just say "so and so is a "better" belt holder. If that were the case, then there would be no need for title fights. They could just say "so and so is the best name, so he gets the belt". Whether he's credible or not, Moses won the belt fair and square. To put a "super" champ over him, when its 100% against the rules, is just bs.

Those are the two best lightweights in the division now that Campbell is moving up in weight and the fact that he lost his titles on the scale ... I wouldn't want to see anyone else in the lightweight division fight for those belts.

I'm sure this would add some drama to an already loaded division ... the winner of that fight is going to be in high demand and will be able to make some exciting fights in the future.

Nate and Marquez was suppose to go down before the Guzman fight was confirmed....

I feel bad for the people of Paulus Moses.... He fought a title eliminator... And supposedly Nate Campbell dropped that belt because Barrera became his mandatory for another belt and he couldn't do 2 mandatories that were due around the same time.....

Secondly, being that Funeka lost the way he did, how come he wasn't considered for a IBF title fight.... Guzman ate his way out of a title shot last year.... If im not mistaken Zahir raheem is ranked higher than Romanov... By like only 1 spot... Guzman should be fighting Funeka.... Or Funeka should be fighting Romanov....

With that said, this potential PPV i will be watching.... Valero/Pitalua will be nice to see.... A good display f power punching from power punchers...
