He will be really drainend and messed up at 150, chech the scene article where he wants to fight pac at 150 in 2012:patsch:patsch Dont do this just for money sergio, its not worth it.
Its a very big lose/lose for pacquiao as well, him even proposing this makes it a lose for pac when he doesnt accept it.
He shouldnt do it though, all he said is he is to small for 150+ roach was the one who actually said let him come to 150.
Which was a bull**** move by him, this fight should be at 154 or 160 not lower than that.
Martinez is better off fighting cotto or canelo or he s6 winner or bute at 164/5.

154 is the middle, im all for that but it shouldnt be lower, but sergio offering that makes me worried bob arum is going to try to captitalize on this.

Someone on the Scene posted a partial translation of the interview and it sounds like Martinez would be trying to lose that weight over 4-5 months, rather than draining in the course of one training camp.

Martinez will do anything for the paydays, and he's a small 160 anyway. I'm fairly sure he could make 154, and if Pac or May faces him there, they deserve much props

Cha-ching, as stated of course. Martinez needs a big payday, he's not a spring chicken and seemingly there is no big fights for him and the clock is ticking on his career. At least he's trying to call some big names out, seemingly no fear.

Pac is 5' 5" and rehydrates to 146-148 on fight night. Martinez is 5' 11" and will rehydrate anywhere from 167-170 (19 - 22 pound advantage).
