Really though, at 150, it's still a win/win situation for Martinez.

It would be a hollow victory for pac, or pbf.

Wonder how much $ Sergio would make against Pac or Floyd. Certainly not 50/50. Probably less than 60/40. Wonder if he would even make over 5 million?

Wonder how much he is making for the Barker fight?

    Why not 2 vs 1?
    Pac and May(147) vs. Martinez(160)
    that would be fair...
    don't you think...

Martinez need to stop being delusional. The fight is never going to happen and he's too big for 150. He need to focus on his career instead of trying to lure guys from 2 classes down. His calling out of smaller fighters is getting tiresome.

It as sorta funny in the beginning, but now it's a broken record.

If by "messed him up silly" you mean have the absolute **** beat out of himself, to the point where his face was unrecognisable, then yes, he f'ed him up silly.

Martinez can easily fight at 154, so its not really calling out guys from 2 divisions down.

Both those guys have fought at 154. (Pac Kinda)

Floyd vs. Martinez at 154 is do-able.

Ortiz was 164 in the ring after all.

Martinez should of took on Pavlik earlier this year when he had the chance.. he would of gotten paid decently for that fight, espcially if it was in Youngstown ohio or ATL. City...(even though he kills Pavlik again IMO)..

    well, Martinez fought at 154 only two and a half years ago, he fought at 147 ten years ago, it is plausible to make 150 if we take a look at Glen Johnson (dropped from 175 to 168, also after ten years);
the question is will Floyd or Manny need to fight him the following years?
Beside Martinez there are no superstar material at 154 or 160 yet, this while Bradley and Khan may come an enrich the 147 division ; if Martinez succeds in losing weight he would become a logical choice for either Floyd or Manny.

But right now, Martinez should be looking to fight Pirog, or Kirkland, or Angluo or Canelo or Cotto.... those are the only good paydays he will get... even Felix Sturm... he ain't getting the Pac fight..... maybe even Andy lee or macklin.. those are good money fights for him.... BUT HARDCORE FANS WANT HIM TO FACE PIROG PERIOD.... if not Pirog, Ward would be a big money making fight...

He want's a good pay day he deserves one, he want's to beat the best fighters of our generation it makes sense money and legacy wise, the problem is that there the draw and will dictate the terms neither pac or floyd will fight him at 154 he's got too much of a advantage and I really doubt either want to fight him to begin with but I really hope he doesn't drain himself for a payday that would just suck to watch.

Meaningless fight at anywhere below 154.

He said it might be fatal to his health but he thinks it can be done lol They'd have to call this one "Night of the Living Dead II".
