I know what you're saying, but I am and I think most people arguing on my side think Floyd can fight at 140 while still being near peak form.

You could be right in saying he'll lose too much trying to get down to 140, and neither of us really know unless he attempts it.

yes, the last 2 guys he fought weren't bigger than him though :hey

I told you, Baldomir was walking around at 180. Look at his physique. How does he way so much for a guy of his stature? That means he is a fat ass when he doesn't fight. How much is he draining himself? The dude was like 36 years of age. He had around 10 loses before he faced Floyd. How good was Zab Judah at that time? Let's not forget that Baldomir had a strong chin as well. IMO, May is stronger than Zab easily.

He is a Gym rat give the man his props and stop hating. he's able to do what he dose by staying on top of his game.

Maintaining his weight from going up or down is an art itself between fights. So stop trying to down play it.

While other fighter are losing weight he working on conditioning and game plan.
Even if he is blessed with a good metabolism he makes good use of it.
Just like he's blessed with grate speed and skill, he still does not take what he has granted and make sure he's in the best shape possible.

Not sure what you're trying to say here BBall. What I'm saying is that most people who are fat, usually have a slower metabolism. Guys like Mayweather have a faster metabolism. Everyone is different and many factors can play a part on why you are fat. Exercise, calories consumed, etc etc. Like what you brought up.

10 eating habits that boost metabolism

But they're studying it anyway—and coming up with exciting new research to help rev it up again. The average woman gains 1 1/2 pounds a year during her adult life—enough to pack on 40-plus pounds by her 50s, if she doesn't combat the roller coaster of hormones, muscle loss, and stress that conspires to slow her fat-burning engine. But midlife weight gain isn't inevitable: We've found eating strategies that will tackle these changes.

Whats impressive about it? seriously if he makes the weight when he gets on the scales thats all that matters.
His ability to stay active in the gym and take care of himself is part of boxing why the **** should I be impressed by something he should be doing? its his job....:deal

you want me to be impressed lets see Floyd go 10 years with out beating up on a woman then I will be impressed....

Lets see Floyd fight Martinez and win at 160 then I will be impressed...

But a fighter doing what he should be doing to stay at his best I am sorry but thats just expected

I can tell you don't know **** about nutrition or managing weight.

While Floyd may eat junk from time to time, he also doesn't eat very often. They mentioned how they have to remind he to eat and he'll sometimes only have 1 meal a day.

Simple calories in vs calories out. If he's eating less or equal to the calories that he's bruning, then he won't gain weight

what I'm saying is the more you weigh, the more calories you burn. Smaller people have slower metabolisms.

Fat people got fat because they're too inactive and/or eat too much. That's it.

Surely the impressive thing is not that he's making the weight, but that staying at the weight means he's in the ring with guys 10+ lbs heavier than him. All arguments about whether he is a "big" or "small" WW aside, the actual weight is a fact.

It always personal .. sound like you guys are mad because the man you like to hate is already shape.

If being in shape ahead of schedule why don't more fighter do this ? Hopkins is a prime example of what a fighter can accomplish if he takes care of himself in side and outside the ring and stays discipline.

while most pro fighter are blowing up 20 to 40 pound over their fighting weight these fighter manage to maintain their weight. so while other fighter are burden with losing weight during training, fighter like hagler, hopkins, and Floyd are working on conditioning and game plan.

Second why should he have to move to 160 when at 154 he quite a bit slower then compaired to what he able to do at 147.

Oh well yeah, no doubt. That's why I said, that several factors are the cause of obesity. You can have a slower metabolism genetically but still be in great shape. Fat people burn calories just by breathing lol. They use more energy. I guess it's more about metabolic rate. It's complex. The reasons you named are causes of slow metabolism. That's why I said that most fat people probably have a slower metabolism.

Then why is Guerrero not ready yet if its every boxier job? Last training session of Guerrero, he was seen wearing a plastic sweat suit still cutting weight. but yet its his job to be in shape at this time right?.
Point is Floyd has 24 days to work on game plan and tighten up his conditioning, Guerrero on the other hands is still trying to lose the weight.
Granted Floyd being in shape this early does not guarantee victory but he sure makes his chances allot better then Guerrero who still trying to make weight at this stage of training. We will see come may 4th get at me then . we will see who show up with the right tool box come May 4th.. I hope Guerreero has his tool box come fight night or he might get the business.
