You should have a ballsack that descended at least five years ago the first time you lace up for real paid fisticuffs, IMO.

    Wasn’t Canelo 15?

Morales was very young too wasn’t he?

You touch upon your boxing,I did ask before but someone threatened to ban me bizarrely. You wanted to try pro boxing which is a noble and brave move at your age,I know myself as I took the sport up late, how did you get on? Are you going to persue it? Pro or am?

So yeah Canelo was 15 and 3 months when debuting,so Mexican rules in 2005 at the very least couldn’t have been ‘over 16’ to go pro.

Wilfredo Benitez unsurprisingly was also 15 years old on his debut.

Nipper Daley story is just insanity.

That is f'ing sick. My wife and I raised two daughters and seeing that makes me ill.

BTW...a 26 yr old female teacher in Texas was just sentenced to 60 yrs WITHOUT OPPORTUNITY OF PAROLE
for have multiple sexual couplings with an 11yr old boy. Another boy saw the acts and told his parents.

I don't know about ballsacks, but kids shouldn't be made to throw a curveball earlier than 18 yrs old. Their bones aren't mature enough to bend for that pitch.

All wrong, very wrong. The damage that could be done to a person that young in professional boxing is frightening.

I don't give a toss if the child is a Mike Tyson clone, 6 feet tall and built like a tank.. he is a child.

And yes I know there is amateur boxing here in the UK but its heavily regulated and no children are signing contracts.

Somebody basically owns that child by contract and the child is fighting, that is just sick in my opinion.

Can you imagine your own child coming home at 14 and saying "I've signed a contract with ******* and I am fighting next weekend.."

It's not right, there are also all sorts of exploitation issues here.

Also this opens up a can of worms..

If you can sign a child of 14, claim it's a job, it's a career, and most importantly have a contract with them, then you can guarantee pervos will be exploiting loop holes and trying to get up to all sorts.

The Thai government must be a f'ing joke if they allow this type of thing.

No offence to any Thai's if you are on here.

14/15 used to be the norm in Mexico. Have you heard of a welterweight wrecking ball by the name of Pipino Cuevas?

Like I said 14 is too early imo aswell but I don’t want to declare it as a fact. The reason I brought up sex is because in some countries 12 is the minimum age for sex, that seems far far to early for me but it’s still just my imo.

Not sure if you see my point? All I’m saying is these people draw the line earlier than you and I. I think 16 is too early too but that’s where the Mexicans draw the line.

Even before going pro, they hold Muay Thai underground fights where the winner gets a bucket for spectators to put money in, and the loser goes home with nothing. This is how a lot of young Thai fighters make a name for themselves, as well as make what little money they can.

Boxing forum flavor of the week - Feigning serious care about the children of the third world because they're not just starving to death in the streets, they're boxing. You'd imagine one would fire up a normal person as much as the other.

How many of you guys are donating to charity for these disenfranchised Thai's again?
