Wtf is the "wbc diamond" title?

    Can someone explain is this an interim belt or a "super belt" or wtf?

    Hence, we are proud to put the WBC Diamond Championship on the line, which marks the biggest honour the WBC can grant

    So it's a "super title" i guess

    I don't think it is though, put it this way, who would you have considered WBC 168 champ before Benavidez was made 'champion in reccess', Benavidez or Callum Smith? or Ramirez or Prograis at 140? i think the gold belt is the legitimate world title.

    It was actually the original million Dollar Belt originally from the WWF .

    The WBC saw another belt opportunity and revamped it and bought it off the WWE trademark and made it more low key.

    It has a lot of lineage stemming off the million dollar man. Ted Dibiases father was actually knocked out by Floyd Patterson in his boxing run.
