he is sooooo good that he can take a long vacation and after all his hard training he could not ko this guy cmon i would understand if herrera ko'ed him but for real he should of finished off he has been ktfo every time he lost....
Flores looked very dominant, winning 9 of 10 rounds. Flores is a force at 200 lbs, the guy used to be a Heavyweight FFS. Herrera has beaten Castro, Williams, and Blades, all by KO. The smart thing to do would be to box his ears off, which is exactly what Flores did. I know you train with Godfrey, but other than that I don't get the unwarranted criticism.
i just think he could of put him away if he wanted to any pressure crumbles him when my boy aaron fought him he had him out and let off and thats when he ko'ed him
it not that i dont like him cause i do and i want to see him do well but i think h is going in the wrong path he should of been busy not sitting at home picking and choosing his next fight 15 months down the rd i would still like to see him fight aaron williams i think aaron will stop him but he just needs to kick it up if he wants a shot at the belt
if he turns arounf and gets a few more fights this yeah it will keep him sharp and put him in position to get big money fights as of right now he cant be picky 20-30k is more than 0!
Herrera is a bloody dangerous banger.Would be pure madness to duke it out with him. I havent seen Flores vs Herrrera, but you are absolutely right in saying that the smart thing to do is to box Herrera's ears off winning a wide point decision instead of taking a huge riks going for the kill frequently entering Herrera's cannonfire.
He could have done it in a way where he was actually throwing punches or standing less than 6 feet away from Herrera though. Yes, he clearly outpointed a guy who has never won a fight by decision, but he looked pretty rotten in doing it.
He did okay. Nothing outstanding. He didn't put that much on the majority of his shots. Some of it looked like 'keep off me' type punches. But overall he outclassed the guy. I don't see any talent that suggests he's dominating the division anytime soon.
Also, it didn't help that they were probably in the largest ring I can remember seeing in the last few years. Flores and Herrera looked like featherweights in there. That ring couldn't have been an inch smaller than 22 feet, probably 24 feet. It was a stark contrast to the bandbox used in the Klitschko fight earlier in the day.
