As I was watching the fight, Marquez was landing some very good, "EFFECTIVE BlOWS" even in combinations (especially to the body, and uppercuts) but HBO wouldn't replay them.

Where were the replays? If that was Pacquiao landing combinations like that, there would have been tons of replays.

And then at the end of the fight, was it Lampley that said "the MEXICAN fans were booing"..... WTF? Why do they have to be "MEXICAN" fans? I booed that decision and I'm not mexican. I was highly offended.

First Larry Merchant wit his "if I was 50 years younger, I'd kick your ass" comment to Floyd and now

"The Mexican fans are booing the decision"......

    Where was Larry Merchant anyway?

HBO it's obvious, something is wrong here....

They are **** and woefully biased to whoever they're championing to make them money. Look at Martinez - Williams II, they are ****ing heart broken when Williams gets sparked.

Marquez was overlooked by almost everyone going in this fight. The HBO crew are no exception.

HBO commentary on saturday was disgusting. Especially Leddermans scorecard, that was horrific.

Lederman was discussing being the "effective aggressor" and "look at the face of Marquez" when Pac was the one with a split lip and getting peppered by "effective counters." Aggression is meaningless when you don't land anything and get countered "effectively."

Then, HBO had the AUDACITY to show a between round clip of Pac moving around Marquez. WTF. That may have been the dumbest clip ever. It was Marquez with the effective footwork; not Pac.

Finally, HBO was discussing the activity of Pac but I saw so many punches not even land. Pac also was visibly broken in between rounds but HBO decided to focus on a single ralley of Pac at the end of each round as the "deciding winning factor in the round"

It was the worst commentating I have seen; worse than the performance of Pac

Very, very biased. Biased towards the replays too...

I wonder if they were purposely giving us bad camera angles. There was times they had the camera behind Pacquiao, but we could still tell there were punches being landed because Pacqiao's head kept snapping back.

They are extremely biased it's not even funny.

On the British broadcast I watched, they replayed quite a few of JMM's big shots in slo-mo.
It was amazing to see how much Manny's head would contort & fly back from the blows. I couldn't believe he never went down.

I seriously believe that Manny has an extra thick skull (like Chavez) and smaller brain, which absorbs more punishment without damage. Lord knows, Manny's not exactly a rocket scientist.

    -------------

It should also be noted that at the end of the fight, these non-HBO commentators were absolutely stunned by the decision. All three were very vocal about the fact that it was a robbery.

I agree. This is the broadcast I watched as well. When they went back to the studio, the other analysts were completely disgusted with the outcome saying that the decision should be investigated.
