cut man did a bad job, JMM was worse than that in pac fight but nacho dealt with it, demarco won 1 round and got outboxed, he showed a lot of tenacity but rematch linares beats him up

Demarco stuck with it and walked through the fire. Linares is very talented, but he let the pressure get to him.

LInares was leading by a wide margin, he could have atleast run for the last 2rounds, and he would have won....And i agree with the others, stoppage was premature!

They put everything but the kitchen sink on that nose cut. Just no stopping it.

I think the ref did right to stop it. Linares was out on his feet after a combo moments earlier.

I disagree. I thought DeMarco, definitely won more than one round. This fight reminded me of the Cotto/Margo fight, where one guy was landing all the flashy combos, but the other guy was doing all of the damage. Linares may win a rematch, but he'll get beat up in the process if he doesn't at least improve his defense.

The dummy went and got gung ho at the end. All he had to do was get on his bike and he would have walked away with an easy victory. But when he needed to move the most at the very end he decided to sit there and trade. Demarco took advantage like he should have. You don't see too many one sided ass whippings turn around like that one did. Linares, in my opinion is still going to be very hard to beat for many people and should recover from this. He does have great talent, hopefully the humility of this will teach him something that will carry him forward better. With the looks of things at 140 now with a lot of guys moving up, he could move into that division and own it.

Linares was boxing rings around Demarco and was unlucky to get cut so badly (unless he cuts easily, haven't really seen many of his fights). But I don't think the stoppage was premature, he was getting clocked by punches that were missing by a mile earlier in the fight and his face was almost as bad as Vitali's back in the day.

If there is a rematch, I would bet my house on Linares.

    Lewis TKO6.

Linares sucks and Ive been telling everyone that would listen that coach Freddy should kick him out the wild card gym along with Khan. We only wants winners in the house that Pac built. If Coach Freddy and Ariza cant make the fighter a winner than the fighter should retire or go some where else. Pac, JCC Jr. and Vanes are all winners and undefeated. Khan and Linares have both been sparked in 1 round :-(

LOL @ Demarco only winning one round. Linares was up on the cards, but it wasn't any kind of shut out. I always find it stunning how big of an effect that the commentary has on viewers.

I'm not sure but there was 2 noticeable cuts, although the one on the eye was bad it seemed the one on the nose was the more visual, that thing just bled like a tap.

The cut on the nose started it, and he needs to work on hes power.
