WTF!!! Linares Lost to Demarco!!!

I remember wondering at round 6 how Linares was going to keep up the pace.

It's a shame he didn't coast a bit. He literally had the fight in the bag.

Even when he was busted up he still got into unnecessary exchanges, just to show he was tough and could hang. Look where it got him..

 

Excellent fight.

I thought Linares would win but deMarco showed a lot of heart and managed to tempt Linares into trading with him, which was ultimately his undoing.

Linares should've kept his composure and stayed outside a little more but that's easier said than done when you have a guy continuously walking you down and applying the pressure.

I'd love to see a re-match and I think, without the cut, Linares takes it.

Despite the losses, I'm still a fan of Linares. He obviously has his flaws but he really can box beautifully when he's on it.

 

Although this is over the top, I agree with most of it. Especially with the highlighted part.

 

Yeah. I also wondered how long he would be able to bounce around like he was doing. The cuts probably helped take a lot out of him.

 

Linares was always overrated.

Linares has been KO'd twice, by Mexican fighters, and will be KO'd again (a 3rd time) by another Mexican fighter.

 

DeMarco would've beaten Edwin Valero, had Valero not been on Steroids the night they fought in Mexico.

Overrated? Nah, Man! Dude's got the looks of Oscar De La Hoya, the fluidity of Ray Robinson, and the defense of Roberto Duran! He's the most naturally skilled fighter ever, it's just DeMarco is the GOAT!

 

So JCC JR > Khan??? Being undefeated is so overrated. And Pacquiao is not undefeated. JCC JR fights bums.

 

Also Demarco took his loss well and learned from it, Linares didn't he got ****ed by another Mexican... his team should have protected him from the beasts that are the Mexicans.

Demarco the Mexican beat Linares like he was his b1tch and it hurts you guys just for the mere fact that he( Demarco) is Mexican......the fight was fairly even going into to the 11th and whoever won the last two rounds would win the fight IMO. Linares DID NOT dominate that's just a myth created by haters that are filled with rage because Mexicans dominate boxing.

Demarco is a solid fighter. He lost a lot of blood and there is no doubt that had to do with him not doing as well. I think he decided to brawl more once he was cut maybe sensing that the fight might be stopped.

until he got tired his defense looked good.
