According to the scene of boxing Sergio Martinez's people are talking to Christophe Canclaux, who is Moore's mando for the Euro belt, for a fight in September/October.

WTF is Frank Maloney doing? He should be looking to get Jamie this shot and not let some Frency get it .

Martinez vs Moore would have been a good fight.

Hopefully Moore gets his crack sooon. It would be gutting to see him bypassed by dodgy eurobums.

Maybe they see Cory Spinks for the IBF as the easier option and will push for that?

Could be the wrong fight for Moore in my opinion. I like, and rate Moore highly, but I think Martinez is all wrong for him.

I'd like to see Jamie get in with Cory Spinks.

after the last defence Maloney said they were working Moore into a mandatory position so they don't have to give up options.

Presumably this is with the buy in of Moore and you can't really argue given how close he is

Martinez is the main guy at light middle imo as well. Spinks has lost most of his reflexes and going by his last fight would be a good match for moore. Light middle will be a hard division to pick a title up in all the champions are solid fighters and beneath them is another 4 or 5 solid contenders.

    WBC Champion - Sergio Martinez

    1.-Kermit Cintron (P. Rico)
    2.-Vernon Forrest (US)
    3.-Jamie Moore (GB) EBU
    4.-Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (Mexico)
    5.-David Lopez (Mexico)
    6.-Alfred Angulo (Mexico)
    7.-Ricardo Mayorga (Nicaragua)
    8.-Alex Bunema (Congo)
    9.-Ryan Rhodes (GB) BBB C
    10.-Harry Joe Yorgey (US)
    11.-Bongani Mwelase (South Africa)
    12.-Christophe Canclaux (France)
    13.-Daniel Edouard (Haiti)
    14.-Vanes Martirosyan (Armenia)
    15.-Zaur Baysangurov (Russia)

Seems the unfortunate events of this week would move Jamie Moore into an eliminator with Cintron. If Cintron was to fight Mosley, he would go back to Welterweight. Chavez will go for an easiar title. So we could see Lopez vs Moore in a final eliminator before the end of the year.

By the way, following the recent tragic death of Vernon Forrest, Jamie Moore has moved into The Ring's top ten ratings at number 10.
