    Unfortunately it seems to be true, Garcia got offered more money vs Easter Jr and is taking that I think.

    Not too bright is he? He could possibly be outboxed by Jorge, but he also has a more than a decent chance at KOing Linares. Easter on the other hand is high risk, low reward, he has a good chin, and the height and reach to be a potential nightmare for Mikey. He might have just made a Roman ducking a Cuadras rematch for Rungvisai like miscalculation here. Not that I rate Easter over Linares, I just think his style poses more problems for Mikey.

    If he's fighting Easter, that's the tougher fight in my opinion. Linares still looked to fade down the stretch, and took a lot of shots once he slowed down. I like the Easter fight, good match

    That's my take on it.

    Easter is no joke...I hope peoples' disappointment with not fighting Linares doesn't sour Garcia-Easter too much. That's a really good fight, too.

    Nah, Linares is a sublime technician. That's the fight I want to see.

    Easter could potentially be the more dangerous fight of the two, so no disappointment over Mikey passing on Linares for the time being. I actually commend Mikey if the Easter fight pushes through which is highly likely.
