(WTF?!) Mikey Garcia Turned Down Jorge Linares (50/50, One Fight Only, Any Channel OK)

With the lack of action he has had over the years, he's hardly at fault for wanting to assure his financial future before looking for some kind of 'legacy fight'.

Now not willing to fight an opponent you consider "Inferior" for a career high pay day, that's ducking.

 

Easter hasn't looked all that good to me recently. If he was on his A game, night in and night out, yeah Linares is an easier fight, between the two. Linares has looked a little sharper to me lately. Might be smart for Garcia to get Easter now, as he'll be better down the line.

 

Yeah, his forehead is too low, in some culture it's a sign of not too bright.

 

Easter Jr might be more dangerous or offers more money, personally I don't see how?
But linares is a legacy fight at light weight. Never take a liking on Garcia anyway.

 

Over rated Garcia would have lost to Linares.

if he turns down easter thats bad. he has options but who else is there really?? flanagan or lipinets at 140.. i guess those are kinda legit. but i believe he will fight easter which if hes offering more money then linares and easter has a belt right ? then u kinda gotta do it. more money makes more sense and ur fighting for a belt. and these promoters wanna out do eachother. golden boy missed out fighting mikey twice wit cotto then linares maybe they need a differ approach.

Why did Linares duck Flanagan and let's be honest Easter would eat Linares for breakfast. Linares just beat a few b lister brits and now he's a killer!

Flanagan would beat Linares easy work too.

Mikey has a legit test against Easter but I can't wait until he gets the Lomachenko fight, the hate for Mikey here will be enormous but Mikey is rock solid and hits too hard for Lomachenko.
