Yes, Dana White always says that, but until we see some actual numbers how are we supposed to know just how much more they are actually making.
When a fighter like Jardine gets $7000 for his fight with Liddell, it makes the UFC look really bad considering the huge PPV dollars they make.

For White to say "yes, but he gets more than that" means little if we aren't told how much more. Otherwise, the $7000 figure is the only one made public, and the UFC leaves itself open to tons of criticism that it doesn't take care of it's fighters.

if jardine only made that much money he would be bankrupt. The cost of training camps and living between fights would be alot more then he makes. Between bonuses, sponsers and other lockerroom money I can gaurantee Jardine makes alot more then 21,000 a year.

well i've gotten to know TJ Grant a little in the past couple months(through his brother), and he 100% gets paid by the UFC more than his fight pay. so it is like a salary really. he gets a base pay plus fight pay.

I never said it was a lot and reflected what they do, but to say fighters only get $3000 a fight is just not true. I know UFC fighters get **** money but with strikeforce and new MMA organisations they should leave and create new companies.

Are you suggesting Dana White is Don King on steroids?

If you actually believe the fight purses are the only way they get paid by the fight companies you are not very good at math.

You aren't supposed to know, that is the entire point of doing it that way. People prefer not to have their salary made public.
