a resume with griffin, henderson, franklin etc. on it is better than the above-quoted.

Nothing wrong with that list Socrates mate, all are great. I guess I would have Silva above GSP, simply because Anderson has been champion longer (Serra interrupted GSP's tenure) and has defeated a former UFC champ at the weight above his own. In fact, I have BJ at #3 despite his comprehensive defeat by GSP as he is imo as dominant a champ at 155 as Georges is at 170 and Georges did allow complacency to creep into his previous reign (Serra fight) which resulted in a loss (although I do accept that it is unlikely that this will ever be a factor again!). And yes mate, I know BJ has suffered from complacency on many occasions, but he got away with it at his own weight, through sheer talent and his iron beard (Which could easily be considered p4p the best in mma, if there is such a ranking for chins:)). As you know, a seriously "Fat" BJ fought a competitive fight at heavyweight against the current 205 champ (Who admittedly was a rookie) which tells me that talent-vs-talent BJ holds a slight edge over GSP. And as we are now seeing the best BJ Penn, that is why I have him at #3 with GSP a close #4. The guy you have at #5 (Mousasi) is a great fighter who may one day rank even higher! My list would be as follows:

    1) Fedor
    2) Silva
    3) Penn
    4) GSP
    5) Mousasi

I'm sure many others have completely different lists and that is what I love about ESB!!
